Looking to sell a smartphone on Stavenio? Here are some quick tips on what to include in your listing:

Locate and include your device's IMEI, model and serial numbers

The International Mobile Equipment Identity number (IMEI) is unique to each device and is used to identify its make, model, and serial number. The easiest way for most devices is to dial

This may not work if the phone is not associated to a plan or carrier.

Alternatively, you can find the IMEI, model and serial numbers in your phone’s settings:
• iPhone: Settings > General > About
• Samsung: Settings > About Device > Status
• Google: Settings > System > About phone
• LG: Settings > General > About phone

iCloud: locked or unlocked

For iPhones: the buyer wants to know that iCloud is unlocked so they can use the phone and connect their iCloud. To do this, sign out of your iCloud by tapping Settings > [your name]. Scroll down and tap Sign Out. Then enter your Apple ID password and tap Turn Off.

For parts or usable

Is your phone good to go as is, or are you only selling it for someone to use the parts? Let the buyer know.

Locked or unlocked

Unlock your phone and include the status in the listing description so buyers know the phone is usable.

Factory reset your device

Make sure to remove all personal information from your device by resetting it back to its factory default settings.

For Android devices:
1. Tap System > Advanced > Reset options.
   If you don't see "Advanced", tap Reset options.
2. Tap Erase all data (factory reset) > Reset phone.
   If needed, enter your PIN, pattern, or password.
3. To erase all data from your phone's internal storage, tap Erase everything.
4. When your phone has finished erasing, pick the option to restart.
For iPhones:
1. Tap Settings > General > Reset
2. Tap Erase All Content and Settings
3. Enter your Apple ID password to confirm the action

Battery health

Share detail about your phone’s battery strength with buyers. You can find this detail in your phone’s settings:
• iPhone: Settings > Battery > Battery Health
• Android: Settings > Battery > More () > Battery Usage

Shipping Service

IMPORTANT: 

All USPS packages containing lithium batteries must be labeled

 “Restricted Electronic Device” 

and

 “Surface Transportation Only.” 

Item transit time may be impacted.

When shipping an electronic via USPS with a Stavenio prepaid label, “Restricted Electronic Device” and “Surface Transportation Only” labeling is included. You may only remove it if your item does not contain a battery.
